Design for Digital Autonomy

Design for Values Impact Day – Digital autonomy
On 9 June, the Delft Design for Values Institute of TU Delft hosts a workshop on Digital Autonomy for policymakers, municipalities, civil society and companies at Spui Campus in The Hague, in collaboration with TU Delft | Campus The Hague. What exactly do we mean by digital autonomy? And what can organizations, such as municipalities, universities and companies, do to advance digital autonomy? These are the central questions during the day. The Delft Design for Values Institute is one of the institutes of TU Delft and a partnership between various faculties. It focuses on developing and propagating design approaches where social values such as sustainability, safety, autonomy and justice are central.
This event will showcase research at TU Delft to policy makers and other societal stakeholders on values and design, with a special focus on Digital Autonomy. During the series, we will explore how research and practice can collaboratively advance policy and design approaches informed by values. The event will provide the opportunity to learn about the most recent research initiatives and results in your domain, to connect to relevant TU Delft researchers and to meet other policy makers and stakeholders. Recently, the DDfV has established several Special Interest Groups (SIGs), as well as a number of seed projects (for an overview, see here). During the Research & Impact Day, we aim to connect insights from DDfV research to practice, strengthen the ecosystem, and foster meaningful connections between research and policymaking. Participants are cordially invited to attend and will receive a certificate of participation.
When: Tuesday 9 June 13.00-17.00 (welcome for lunch from 12.00)
Where: TU Delft Campus The Hague, Spui 5 (fourth floor), 2511 BL The Hague
