Join us for an evening with Ani Dasgupta, President and CEO of the World Resources Institute, as he presents his new book The New Global Possible: Rebuilding Optimism in the Age of Climate Crisis.
The conversation will examine why a new economy — one that works for people, nature, and the climate — is not only necessary but achievable, even in a world marked by instability and uncertainty. Drawing on his book, Dasgupta will shed light on the clean economic transition already taking shape around the globe, and what it takes to steer that change in the right direction.
His central argument: the question is no longer whether the transition will happen, but how. The presentation will be followed by an open discussion on harnessing innovation, dismantling entrenched power structures, and building a cleaner, more resilient economy.
