Marketing and Communications Intern
Responsibilities
Your core duties as a Marketing Intern will include:
Collateral Creation
- Assist in designing and producing marketing materials such as brochures, PowerPoint presentations, 1-pagers, and infographics
- Ensure all collateral align with the Company guidelines and effectively communicate key messages
LinkedIn Posts
- Assist in developing and scheduling LinkedIn posts to communicate important updates, achievements, and insights
- Help identify key messages and target audience for each post
- Support stakeholder mapping by understanding audience demographics and interests.
Website Content
- Help create and update website frames and content for the website
- Collaborate with the SEO provider to optimize website visibility and search rankings
Blog Writing
- Conduct interviews with project stakeholders and write compelling blog posts
- Develop insightful questions to highlight project impacts and achievements
Videography
- Develop ideas for video content to showcase projects and initiatives
- Help film and edit videos that highlight the Foundation’s impact
Qualifications
We are looking for the following:
- A completed or in-progress Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Basic proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite and Canva)
- Familiarity with SEO and website management is a plus
- Experience with video filming and editing software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- An interest in our mission and a desire to make an impact
