Lead UI/UX Designer – International NGO Safety Organisation
As UX Lead, you will play a key role in empowering humanitarian organisations across the 20 countries where INSO operates. Leading our product design efforts, you’ll create intuitive, impactful digital tools that directly support the safety and access of aid workers in high-risk environments.
You will be at the forefront of research and collaboration with INSO staff to understand user needs, align stakeholders, and design effective experiences in Figma. Applications will be accepted until 8 February 2026.
Key responsibilities
- Lead UX Strategy for the INSO web and mobile applications, aligning with the organisation goals and user needs.
- Translate user insights and behavioural data into actionable design solutions that drive engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, information managers and other INSO staff to define and deliver end-to-end user journeys.
- Design and prototype intuitive interfaces using modern UX/UI principles, ensuring consistency and usability across touchpoints.
- Ensure full usage of our Design thinking process to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Conduct usability testing and iterative design reviews to validate concepts and continuously improve the user experience.
- Advocate for accessibility, scalability, and performance in all design decisions.
