Community and Campus Engagement Internship (March – August 2027) – The Hague Humanity Hub

The Hague Humanity Hub

The Hague, The Netherlands

32 hours per week

15-11-2026

Want to spend six months at the heart of The Hague’s peace and justice community? Looking for hands-on experience at a vibrant, growing non-profit where your ideas are welcome and your work makes a visible difference? Then we’d love to meet you.

About the role

As our Community & Campus Engagement Intern, you’ll shape how members experience the Hub – from their very first visit to their ongoing involvement in our growing community. The role sits where community and sales meet: you’ll welcome and connect members, guide organisations through their membership journey, host tours and delegations, and help bring new members and partners on board.

You’ll work closely with our Campus and Programming teams to make the Hub a place where people, ideas and opportunities from across The Hague’s peace and justice ecosystem come together – and to make sure every encounter reflects our welcoming, collaborative spirit.

What you’ll do

  • Member engagement & experience
    • Welcome members and visitors, and make introductions
    • Help create a warm, inclusive and lively campus atmosphere
    • Connect people with relevant contacts, opportunities and spaces within the Hub
    • Give prospective members an on-site “tour of the house”
  • Membership journey
    • Act as first point of contact for new member enquiries via our shared inbox
    • Help onboard new members
    • Gather member feedback and turn it into improvements to our services and the Hub
    • Help shape how our membership offer is presented and delivered
  • Events
    • Co-organise and host community events such as Community Drinks, together with our Connection Platform Intern
    • Support ad hoc collaborations and member-led activities
  • Delegations & external representation
    • Host tours and visits for external guests and delegations
    • Help develop our delegation hosting products and services
    • Actively promote and sell delegation hosting services
    • Master the Hub pitch and coach other team members in delivering it
    • Represent the Humanity Hub and its community
  • Sales, outreach & ecosystem development
    • Support outreach to prospective members and partners
    • Carry out market research and identify collaboration opportunities
    • Contribute to membership development and follow-up
