From Connection to Collective Impact: our 2025 Annual Report

The Hague Humanity Hub’s 2025 Annual Report is now available to read. It tells the story of a year in which connection across the peace and justice ecosystem became something more deliberate: collective impact.

2025 was a challenging year for the organisations working on peace, justice, and humanitarian action. Funding shocks, rising humanitarian needs, and mounting pressure on international cooperation tested the sector. In that context, the Hub focused on the work that helps others succeed: brokering connections, building communities around shared challenges, and creating the conditions for organisations to act together.

Key highlights from 2025 include:
• A growing membership community, now representing 248 organisations, up from 185 the year before.
• The launch of the Democracy and Rule of Law Collective and continued development of the Climate Justice Community, alongside a multi-stakeholder dialogue on Sudan.
• More than 1,500 connections actively brokered and over 10,000 enabled across the ecosystem.
• 18,000 participants in Hub programmes and events, and 60,000 people reached through the Just Peace Festival in the year of the NATO Summit.
• A peace and justice ecosystem of 1,530 mapped organisations, made easier to explore through a new online navigation tool launched in December.

The report also shares stories from across the community: a connection made at the Hub that grew into humanitarian collaboration in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, and research that turned individual concern about funding cuts into shared strategy.
