The Soul Park Foundation

The Soul Park Foundation is a Netherlands-based non-profit, paramedical social-impact initiative dedicated to creating a new model of inclusive care, sustainability, and community well-being. The foundation’s flagship project, The Soul Park, is a visionary multi-level eco-sustainable care complex designed to unite humans, animals, nature, and technology in one integrated environment.

At its heart, The Soul Park aims to provide lifelong, 24/7 care, accommodation, rehabilitation, and emotional support for adults with disabilities, mobility challenges, or cognitive conditions. Each resident is paired with a rescued dog from a shelter, creating a bond that supports therapeutic progress while giving vulnerable animals a safe, loving home. This “two-souls saved” philosophy forms a core element of the foundation’s mission.

The building itself is a 15-level sustainable ecosystem, powered by technologies such as solar windows, solar panels, kinetic (cyanitic) pavement, and a circular waste-to-energy system that produces biogas and fertilizer. Inside, the complex includes a multi-level rehabilitation center, wheelchair-accessible swimming pools, a fitness and therapy area, a fun room for sensory stimulation, meeting spaces, administrative offices, and a dedicated Alzheimer’s and cognitive decline support center. The rooftop hosts a community restaurant open to the public, promoting inclusion and visibility.

The Soul Park Foundation also places strong emphasis on social and economic impact, with an estimated creation of 450 jobs, ranging from care professionals and sustainability technicians to hospitality, maintenance, and community staff. The project combines environmental innovation with human-centered care, offering a replicable blueprint for sustainable, socially inclusive development in the Netherlands and beyond.
