Stichting Queer Mind

Stichting Queer Mind is a dedicated organization working to combat homelessness and insecurity among LHBTIQ+ youth in the Netherlands. With a mission to foster self-reliance and inclusion, the foundation envisions a society where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, can live safely and participate fully.

Through initiatives like the “Le Refuge Den Haag – Opvang en Huiskamer”, a shelter project and LHBTIQ+ dialogue cafés, Stichting Queer Mind provides safe spaces, promotes understanding, and builds bridges within the community. By addressing systemic challenges and fostering peaceful interaction, the organization strives to reduce violence, homelessness, and exclusion, creating a safer and more accepting future for the LHBTIQ+ community.

While the foundation’s initial target audience is young LGBTQI+ and queer people in vulnerable situations, they believe that the participation of broader sectors of our community will strengthen our purpose.
