SED Fund

The SED Fund stands for Sustainability, Equity and Diversity. SED Fund’s model supports new and innovative programmes that take a solutions-oriented approach towards just transition and climate action by aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals. They do this through a venture philanthropy model, providing seed and scale up funding to organisations or programmes across their life cycle and continuing to support them in their growth and scale-up journey.

SED Fund focuses on working with early-stage organisations or with new programmes in established organisations that work on the SDGs in the climate. Their grants are strategically made to build collaborative networks across geographies. Each grant plays a key formative tome in solving global challenges through a multidimensional and systems approach.

Every grant by SED Fund falls under one or more themes of work. As their mission is to bring about change through a systems-level approach, several of our grants cut across themes, based on the relevant areas of intervention.
