Olivscent is working on providing a good opportunity for the Syrian refugees’ professionals in turkey, who make handcrafted olive oil soaps (Aleppo soaps) that traces back 1300 years. Many individuals are involved in the process of making the soaps, from the manufactory to the packaging where many women work on a handcrafted, sustainable packaging as well.

Olivscent does this through their handcrafted products, the rich history behind them, and our interactive workshops, creating more inclusive workplaces and fostering understanding through storytelling and historical connections.
Olivscent offers handmade, natural, and plastic-free Aleppo soaps, crafted by Syrian artisans, women, and men who have resettled in Turkey after the civil war.

Seeking to empower these talented individuals, Olivscent helps them preserve the timeless 2,000-year-old Aleppo soap tradition while providing for their families. By honoring this heritage, Olivscent keeps the craft alive and shares the positive stories behind it, using storytelling to celebrate resilience, cultural identity, and the cultural connections that link past and present.
