EGD Consultancy was founded in February 2021 by Elif Gül Demir as a sole proprietor. Elif has a strong background in humanitarian energy and sustainable development through her research and professional experience. She has worked at an NGO and the UN on activities that promote sustainable energy access for displacement-affected communities. Her expertise includes coordinating practitioner networks, managing multistakeholder processes, organising high-level events, stakeholder management, and building strategic partnerships. She has worked on diverse topics such as e-waste, clean cooking, productive uses of energy, and blended finance. Elif is dedicated to creating innovative solutions that deliver tangible benefits for communities in need.
