Youth Peace Summit of The Hague: Become a Voice for Peace

Youth Peace Summit is a youth-led initiative taking place annually in June aiming to bring together young people from many countries for discussion, workshops and interesting talks related to the topic of peace. It aims to be a youth-led movement that promotes and encourages peace at a local, national and international level. Youth Peace Summit is initiated by Rotary, Ithaka Academie and the Hague University of Applied Sciences started in 2025.
By connecting youth, institutions, and partners such as Rotary, NGOs, and governments, YPS provides space for dialogue, innovation, and inclusion:
- a summit where young changemakers pitch their peace projects, and learn from many different organisations and institutions involved in peacebuilding, peace advocacy and dialogue activity.
- a project market that inspires others to act, and
- an online platform that ensures everyone — everywhere — can join the conversation.
From 17 to 19 June 2026, YPS invites 150 young people from all over the world with an aim to have young people discover, learn, develop and draft a plan towards a more peaceful world. They share knowhow, contacts and network by means of offering a wide and diverse array of workshops, key-notes and excursions covering many different angles of peace work. This effort is fully youth led: organised by a team of diverse and enthusiastic young people.
