Youth Peace Initiative Closing Ceremony of Middle East Peace Process Conference

From the 14th to the 20th of March a group of young Israelis and Palestinians, and youth from other conflict affected settings will come together in The Hague to discuss and explore how youth can play an active role in peace and reconciliation processes. Together, they will explore past examples and look towards future possibilities. In addition, this group of young leaders will receive training in order to provide them with the tools to do so.
The MEPP Conference is part of YPI’s Young Leadership Experience, a year-long programme for Israeli and Palestinian youth interested in expanding their leadership capabilities to strengthen their role as actors of change in the peace issue.
With this conference week of dialogue and training sessions coming to an end, we would like to close the week by presenting our results, before continuing the Young Leadership Experience in the region of our delegates. Together with you, we would like to explore the following question: ‘How can Israeli and Palestinian youth play an active role in peace and reconciliation processes?’
