Water & Peace Seminar
26 March, 2020 @ 09:00 - 27 March, 2020 @ 17:00

The 3rd Water & Peace Seminar aims to better understand the role of data in science-policy interactions over transboundary water, based on different case studies from around the world. It focuses on how policy-processes influence data collection and information development, and in turn how this influences policy-making over shared waters.
The Water & Peace Seminars brings together scientists, policy makers and practitioners to share experiences and gain more insight into how transboundary water cooperation is done. In 2018, participants at the 1st seminar broadly discussed ‘The role of science in transboundary processes and agreements’. In 2019 the seminar focused on ‘Water security and the principle of no significant harm’.
