Introduction
Designing and delivering training in international contexts presents unique challenges. Trainers work with diverse groups with varying experience, cultural backgrounds and expectations. This requires a flexible, inclusive and culturally sensitive approach. In our Training of Trainers course we explore these challenges and provides practical tips to address them.
We cover the full training cycle: from needs assessment to design, delivery and evaluation. This helps to create training sessions that are context specific and applicable to the daily reality of training participants. Participants in this course will learn about participatory learning methods such as experiential learning, group work, role-plays, case studies, and peer coaching. These techniques encourage reflection, dialogue, and real-world application.
They will also learn how to manage challenges such as communication styles, managing group dynamics and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment that facilitates difficult conversations about sensitive topics. Finally, this training equip participants with the tools to translate learning into action: setting clear objectives, integrating action planning and ensuring follow-up for sustainable impact.
