Impact of ODA Budget Cuts on The Hague Ecosystem – Presentation & Dialogue
22 May @ 09:30 - 10:30

What lessons are emerging from the impact of ODA cuts and how can we act on them together?
This community dialogue is grounded in the findings of our Ecosystem Risk Analysis, a research initiative that mapped the early impacts of budget cuts across the Hague peace and justice ecosystem. While the results confirm many shared concerns, they also offer a baseline from which to explore collective responses and adaptive strategies.
We invite you to jointly reflect on these insights and explore pathways toward a more resilient and connected ecosystem.
Over the course of March and April, we conducted a survey, interviews and desk research to gain a better understanding of the financial and operational impact of the (inter)national budget cuts. The results are in and we would like to share the research findings with survey respondents, interviewees and anyone else interested. We invite you to jointly reflect on the impact of these recent changes on the peace and justice ecosystem of The Hague and how we can move forward together.
Session Objectives:
-Share research insights to establish a common understanding
-Invite participants to reflect on their own experiences and challenges
-Discuss implications for the Hague ecosystem
-Reflect on how to move forward together
Who is it for:
-Survey respondents,
-Interviewees
-Policy advisors
-Other interested parties
