From Risk to Resilience: Women Shaping Security Responses

Join us on 30 March 2026 for From Risk to Resilience: Women Shaping Security Responses
📅 Monday, 30 March 2026, 16:30–18:00 (followed by networking drinks)
📍 Spui Campus, The Hague
Across the security landscape, there is growing recognition that integrating gender perspectives leads to more effective and inclusive outcomes. Yet, the practical application of these perspectives—particularly in the context of risk, resilience, preparedness, and response—remains an ongoing challenge.
From Risk to Resilience: Women Shaping Security Responses brings together experts from policy, practice, and academia to explore how gender-informed approaches can strengthen security strategies and responses in real-world settings.
The event has two main objectives:
- To explore how gender perspectives can be meaningfully integrated into risk and resilience frameworks, both in preparedness and response;
- To create space for dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and connection between professionals working across the security and resilience ecosystem.
Join us if you are:
- A professional or student interested in security, defence, or resilience;
- Engaged in policy, research, or practice related to safety and security;
- Interested in gender perspectives and their role in shaping more effective responses.
The programme features a panel discussion with a diverse group of experts, followed by networking drinks to continue the conversation and build connections.
