Overview
Join us for our next edition of #DemocracyDrinks! This edition is titled “Restorative Justice, Restoring Democracy”, and we will be reflecting on humane, restorative justice practices as the often-overlooked cornerstone of rights-based justice systems and flourishing democracies. Following this panel discussion, there will be ample time for a Q&A session, followed by time for an informal discussion, drinks, and networking.
Spotlight Speakers
- Anna Matczak, Senior Lecturer in Comparative Criminology at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Restorative Justice Expert and NHC Committee Member.
- Malini Laxminarayan, NHC Programme Officer Rights-Based Justice working on topics of survivor-centered advocacy, restorative justice, transitional justice and victim rights.
Moderator
The event will be moderated by NHC’s Communication Manager, Marcela Rilovic
