CR4NGOs: Cybersecurity Crisis Simulation

The CyberResilience for NGOs This link opens in a new tab and CyberSecure The Hague This link opens in a new tab project consortium invite you for the first Cybersecurity Tabletop Crisis Simulation. Through a cyberattack scenario against a nonprofit, exchange and discuss in groups how you will react, manage, and recover from such a cyber incident.

What can you expect? 

Participants will engage in a simulated scenario designed to test and enhance their ability to respond to a cyber threat against a nonprofit organization. Through interactive discussions and hypothetical scenarios, participants will navigate a cyber incident, assess response strategies, and identify areas for improvement in their cybersecurity strategy.

Why should you join this session?

  • To strengthen your communications skills to describe cyber threats and attacks and delegate responsibilities regarding the recovery efforts;
  • To identify gaps and areas for refinement and apply learnings to your organization’s business model;
  • To develop critical incident response skills and familiarity with response protocols in a low-stakes environment.


Who should attend?

  • The training is designed for Senior staff of nonprofits organizations, IT Manager, Legal advisor or communication manager. 
  • Limited technical knowledge is needed.
  • A maximum of 2 participants per organization is foreseen for this exercise.
