Partos is organising an interactive session on the ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) in communications practice. AI offers enormous opportunities, but also brings challenges and responsibilities. During this session, we will discuss considerations surrounding AI and potential guidelines and best practices to help communications professionals deploy AI safely, ethically, and effectively.

Keynote Lysanne van de Kamp: 15 considerations for a much-needed conversation about AI use

AI tools like ChatGPT and image generators seem to have become indispensable in a short time. They offer convenience, speed, and creativity at our fingertips. But behind this technological leap lie questions that are much larger than we often realize. In an article, Lysanne van de Kamp lays out 15 key considerations that invite us to look beyond the benefits alone.

She writes about the growing power of Big Tech, the pressure on democracy and truth, and the socially unjust conditions in which many AI systems are built.
