5-Session Nonviolent Communication Journey: From Judgment to Understanding

In communities working for peace, justice and social impact, communication matters. Even when values are shared, misunderstandings and conflict arise. How we respond can streghen relationships, collaboration and collective impact.

Following the enthusiastic response to our introductory NVC session, we are excited to offer this five-part Nonviolent Communication (NVC) Learning Journey.

Facilitated by Sabine Morf, Certified NVC Trainer and founder of Dialogue Garden, this interactive series will help you navigate difficult conversations with greater clarity, empathy, and confidence.

Developed by Marshall Rosenberg, NVC is not about avoiding conflict or “being nice.” It is a practical framework for communicating honestly, listening deeply, and staying connected when conversations become challenging.

The sessions will happen weekly (10:00-12:30) on Friday mornings at The Hague Humanity Hub from 25th September – 23rd October.

What You Will Learn
Over five sessions, you will explore how to:

• Communicate with greater clarity and intention using Observations, Feelings, Needs, and Requests.
• Build self-awareness by transforming judgments and blame into a deeper understanding of underlying needs.
• Listen with empathy and presence to create space for genuine connection.
• Navigate conflict constructively through clear requests and difficult conversations.
• Strengthen trust and collaboration in professional and personal relationships.

About the Facilitator
Sabine Morf is a Certified Trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) and founder of Dialogue Garden. She supports individuals, teams, and organizations in building cultures of connection, trust, and constructive dialogue through the practice of Nonviolent Communication.
