Programming Advisory Board (PAB)

The PAB supports the development of the Hub towards its mission and ensures that our programming is of value to both the community and wider public by identifying and creating opportunities to connect and collaborate.

 

PAB Members

  • Provides strategic advice to Hub team to steer programme and community development;
  • Provide sectoral and programmatic insights;
  • Help identify specific themes to help connect professionals and organizations;
  • Advise the Hub team on the development, funding and execution of programmes around these themes;
  • Propose and champion new initiatives;
  • Cultivate a sense of collective ownership in strengthening and connecting the community of The Hague.

Supervisory Board

The supervisory board of The Hague Humanity Hub monitors the executive board (director) of the foundation, providing advice and assistance in realising the foundation’s objectives.

More specifically, the supervisory board has the following main tasks:

  • Ensuring the proper functioning of the management and performing the employer role (appointment, assessment and dismissal of the management);
  • Ensuring the proper functioning of internal supervision;
  • Advising the executive board;
  • Supervising the policy pursued by the executive board and the general course of events within the foundation; approving proposed policy and strategic decisions by the executive board.

The board meets four times a year, plus one or two thematic meetings. There are two committees: remuneration and audit.
