The Arab-West Foundation was established in 2005 to encourage tolerance, understanding, and dialogue between Muslim and non-Muslim communities, as well as between Arab and Western societies. It collaborates with the Center for Intercultural Dialogue and Translation Ltd. and the Center for Arab-West Understanding NGO in Egypt to develop Dialogue Across Borders, a database for intercultural dialogue accessible to students, researchers, journalists, and dialogue workers worldwide. Each member country has a network of civil society organisations committed to promoting dialogue.
