NGO DEI is a Hong Kong arts and culture organization located in The Hague, just a 20-minute walk from the Peace Palace. Since its establishment in Prague, the Czech Republic, in 2021, NGO DEI has organized over 100 events and assisted more than 80 Ukrainian migrants in settling in Europe, exemplifying their commitment to global solidarity. Originally founded by 10 international students and three founders, the organization has achieved remarkable success. This year, NGO DEI made a significant leap by relocating to The Netherlands and establishing a community center and gallery at this International Justice Hub, symbolizing their commitment to fostering dialogue and promoting justice through art and culture. In last May, they proudly collaborated with Art and Culture Hong Kong to host the “Hong Kong in Exile” symposium, a significant gathering that brought together international Hong Kong scholars, artists, and activists for in-depth discussions about Hong Kong and envisioning an imaginative future. Their inaugural exhibition in The Hague marks a pivotal moment as they continue to extend their network in a city that shares their values of freedom and humanity..
