Foro Penal

Foro Penal is a human rights organisation that provides legal assistance pro bono to people subject of arbitrary detentions and their relatives in Venezuela. The objective of the Foro Penal is to promote and defend Human Rights, to provide free legal assistance to those citizens who are repressed by the State for dissenting and, in general, to the victims of violations of their Human Rights. That is why the team of lawyers and active defenders of the Foro Penal are deployed throughout Venezuela and provide free support, after verification of the facts and the information provided, to all people who request it.

Our vision is to maintain leadership as a human rights organisation both nationally and internationally, expanding not only the spectrum of actions but also the team of lawyers and Active Defenders, fighting day by day against repression and against the use of the justice system as a weapon of intolerance.

We are consolidating effective and direct support for victims and relatives whose human rights have been violated, taking their cases to international bodies if necessary in order to achieve justice.
