About the Hub
What we do
The Hague Humanity Hub is a platform and community space where changemakers from across sectors, disciplines, and borders connect and collaborate on today’s most pressing peace and justice challenges.
Here’s how we do it:
1. Building collective action communities
We bring together changemakers around shared challenges, like climate justice, mental health, visual advocacy, talent, and more. These communities connect people from different sectors and backgrounds to explore ideas, share knowledge, and co-create new approaches that spark innovation.
Examples include:
- The Climate Justice Community
- Talent initiatives for the next generation of peace and justice professionals
- Special interest groups on mental health and visual advocacy
2. Strengthening the ecosystem
We strengthen The Hague’s peace and justice ecosystem by building bridges between organisations, networks, and individuals. We help identify shared priorities, spotlight emerging themes, and create space for collaboration, locally and globally.
Our ecosystem support includes:
- Curated networking events like Democracy Drinks and Blue Drinks
- Dialogue series like Fireside Peace Chats and Critical Dialogues
- Mapping and showcasing the Community of The Hague
- Programmes to connect talent and employers
3. Engaging the public
We believe that everyone has a role to play in building a more peaceful and just world. That’s why we create opportunities for the public to connect with, learn from, and make their voices heard in the mission-driven community of The Hague
Key initiatives:
- Just Peace, The Humanity Hub’s public engagement platform, including:
- Just Peace Festival, the annual Just Peace Weekend, and Just Peace Movie Nights
- Events and open days that build awareness and foster dialogue
4. Offering a home for collaboration
At our 2000m² space in the heart of The Hague, changemakers find a physical home for connection and co-creation. With coworking spaces, private offices, event rooms, and a welcoming café, the Hub is where conversations over coffee lead to big ideas.
We provide:
