UNDP Frontline Talks: Building Peace and Justice in a world of multidimensional crises

10 March @ 18:00 - 19:30

As conflicts and crises become more complex and interconnected, efforts to build peace and strengthen justice systems must be adaptive, inclusive, and locally grounded. This discussion will explore how UNDP and its partners are navigating these challenges – linking governance, rule of law, and conflict prevention with approaches that empower local actors and foster resilience.

Speakers from Iraq, Moldova, and UNDP’s Africa regional programme, along with Dutch partners such as Clingendael Academy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will share insights on addressing multidimensional crises, supporting locally led solutions, and strengthening national and regional responses. The conversation will highlight experiences from different contexts, showcasing how collaboration across levels—whether through institutional reforms or mediation at the community level—can contribute to more sustainable peace and justice.

The first UNDP “Frontline talks” will feature a moderated conversation with speakers sharing perspectives and experiences, leaving time for an interactive exchange (Q&A) with the audience at the end.
