18 October, 2023 @ 14:30 - 16:00
In honour of World Food Day our members IDLO This link opens in a new tab and KPSRL This link opens in a new tab – as well as LANDac and NFP – are co-convening a dialogue on food security and rule of law. Working with stakeholders from these communities, this event also hopes to open engagement between Dutch and international policymakers and practitioners, and explore practical opportunities to advance cooperation and coherence at the nexus of action on SDGs 2 and 16. This event is available online and in-person.
Event Aims
- > Build on the momentum emerging from the UN Food Systems Summit This link opens in a new tab (UNFSS) +2 Stocktaking Moment in July
- > Explore the enabling role of the rule of law in delivering on the promise of food systems transformation highlighted during the Stocktaking Moment, with a specific focus on how people-centred justice can ensure no one is left behind in efforts to realise the right to adequate food
