SDG Café – SDG11: Sustainable Cities and Communities (in Dutch)

26 October, 2023 @ 15:00 - 18:00

SDG Café Poster october 2023

We are excited to invite you to our inspiring SDG Café centring on SDG11: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. In collaboration with VNG International This link opens in a new tab and SDG Café This link opens in a new tab this event hopes to explore the challenges and opportunities surrounding sustainable urban development.

Currently, over half the population lives in cities, making them not only the epicentre of change, but also of opportunity. At the same time, rapid urban growth brings challenges, from environmental problems to social inequality. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) This link opens in a new tab of the United Nations guide our cause as we work together to create inclusive, safe and sustainable cities by 2030.

During this event, speakers from various organisations will join the conversation on different themes including access to justice, climate change within the context of cities, and more!

Just as with any good café, afterwards there will be a chance to mingle and converse with one another.

We hope to see you there so that you can add your voice to this important discussion!
