Our member the KPSRL and PRIO’s Rotterdam Residency Programme are co-hosting an event at The Grey Space This link opens in a new tab from 16:00-19:00 (CEST) on the 5th of October. The event is entitled ‘Creative Resistance to War and Oppression: A debate & art exhibition’ and will include a panel discussion moderated by our Head of Secretariat, Sever Džigurski, and including panelists Cindy Horst This link opens in a new tab, Kirsten van den Hul This link opens in a new tab, Diala Brisly This link opens in a new tab, and Daria Pugachova This link opens in a new tab, on the many roles art plays in times of war, oppression, and exile, asking the question of whether there are ways to make better use of its potential for creative resistance. After the debate, there is an opportunity to see art by Khalid Shatta, Diala Brisly, and Daria Pugachova.
