The Humanity Hub Peer2Peer group on facilitation is back! These member-led sessions are intended to support knowledge sharing and collaboration between Hub members who share expertise and interest in a specific theme or topic. The facilitation Peer2Peer group is all about sharing how to use certain facilitation tools or methods in your work.
The next session, on 1 December, is being organised by our members from the Youth Peace Initiative This link opens in a new tab, who will guide participants in the fundamentals of creating ‘safe spaces’ for dialogue. As part of their peacebuilding efforts with young Palestinians and Israelis, YPI has years of experience hosting dialogue sessions in which participants from both sides of the conflict can openly share their experiences. The creation of such safe spaces is vital for conflict resolution; they ensure dignity, respect, safety, inclusion, and positive self-worth – all fundamentally important for constructive conversations.
This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn how to facilitate safe spaces, and apply the basics of conflict resolution to both their personal and professional lives.
