Movies That Matter is looking for several volunteers to contribute to its 2026 Festival.
Volunteer Positions – Movies That Matter
Each year, around 130 passionate volunteers join the Movies that Matter team to help bring the festival to life. With nearly 20,000 visitors and numerous international guests, volunteers are essential to the smooth running of the event.
The festival in 2026
The festival will take place from Friday the 20th until Saturday the 28th of March at Theater aan het Spui and Filmhuis Den Haag. For the preparations and running of the festival, Movies That Matter is looking for helping hands in The Hague and for a few shifts in Amsterdam, shifts starting from 18th of March.
Who are you?
Movies That Matter is looking for enthusiastic, proactive people who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. An affinity with film and festivals, and prior volunteering experience, is a plus. As you’ll often be the first point of contact for visitors, Movies That Matter value volunteers who are welcoming, hospitable, and friendly.
