The Hub is looking for an intern to join the Talent team. Our talent programming aims to support the next generation of changemakers in the peace & justice community of the Hague. We work with skills and network-based activities to support (young) talent in getting practical exposure to the expertise of the professional community and to navigate opportunities for career development. From co-creating events to connecting with diverse partners, this internship offers an exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to something meaningful.
As the Talent for Good intern, you will play an essential role in supporting the Talent Hub team. Reporting to and working closely with the project manager, you will help drive our programming and community-building efforts aimed at supporting the next generation of changemakers in the peace & justice ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Coordination
- Event support & coordination
- Help with event planning, organisation, moderation, and logistics communication with partner organisations. Key events include our Talent for Good Fair and Handshake series.
- Talent Hub Development
- Research, interview, write, and compile resources for our Talent Hub, a platform for career insights, opportunities, and resources.
- Event support & coordination
- Community Management
- Helping to build and nurture a vibrant, engaged community of students, young professionals, and partner organisations.
- Assisting in creating opportunities for community members to connect, collaborate, and exchange knowledge.
- Collaborating with other departments at the Hub, such as communications and campus teams, to support the promotion and delivery of programming activities.
- Representation and Networking
- Representing and presenting the Humanity Hub at external and partner events.
- Supporting efforts to map, engage, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, potential members, and speakers relevant to the Talent programme.
- Assisting in business development and fundraising efforts related to talent initiatives.
What you bring

- Affinity with working on opportunities for young people.
- A curious, friendly personality with the ability to stay calm, responsive, and solution oriented.
- You are punctual, well-organized, detail oriented, proactive and can multi-task.
- A flexible, can-do attitude, ready to jump between tasks and help where needed, and suggest improvements.
- Ideally you have experience with event management and facilitation.
- You are fluent in English and can (ideally) communicate in Dutch. Dutch speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication skills, in writing and verbally.
- You can work independently and collaborate within a team. You welcome feedback and use it to improve and learn.
- Available for flexible working hours to support events as required.
Requirements
- You are studying/have studied a degree in a relevant field (for example, but not limited to: Development Studies, International Relations, International Law, Political Sciences, Public Relations, Communication, Business Management).
- You are legally allowed to do an internship in the Netherlands.
- You are living in, or near, The Hague.
- You must be able to work at least 4 days per week (32 hours).
- You must be available for the entire duration of the internship.
