SUMMARY:Realizing the right to food for lasting stability
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nJoin us as we discuss how to ensure everyone has access to food\, and how to fund these efforts! \nRealizing the right to food for lasting stability: Scaling and financing effective justice solutions \nFAO and IDLO invite you to join a hybrid dialogue engaging stakeholders in the rule of law and right to food communities\, intended to explore practical opportunities to strengthen stability and peaceful societies by realizing the right to adequate food through people-centred justice. The proposed dialogue event will explore the enabling role of access to justice in fostering the realization of the right to food\, including by enhancing the capacity of rights-holders to claim their right to food\, and of formal and informal justice actors to address such claims effectively; and the ways in which securing the right to food contributes to trust\, security\, stability\, and cohesion. With this event\, FAO and IDLO hope to contribute to joint learning and collective action that promotes people-centred justice as a means of ensuring no one is left behind in realizing the right to adequate food\, and improving the resilience\, stability\, and development of food insecurity-affected societies. \nList of speakers to be updated in the coming weeks. \nFor more information\, please contact aquintana@idlo.int. \n  \n	Register here This link opens in a new tab
