SUMMARY:Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) Training
DESCRIPTION:-Humanity\, Impartiality\, Independence and Neutrality-\, four key principles to categorize the nine commitments and quality criteria of the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS). How to deal with the principles of “participation & information sharing” or “appropriateness & relevance” in the provision of aid and within an organisation? Join us for the workshop on the CHS.\n\n\nIn January KUNO will again bring the two-day workshop ‘Introduction to the Core Humanitarian Standard’ of the CHS Alliance to the Hague. This training will introduce the framework\, the nine humanitarian principles\, its practical application\, and its verification network. Humanitarian professionals and others interested in the CHS training are kindly invited to join this workshop \nMore detailed information on the training can be found here. \n[av_button label=’Purchase tickets now’ link=’manually\,https://www.kuno-platform.nl/events/chs-training/’ link_target=” size=’large’ position=’center’ label_display=” icon_select=’no’ icon=’ue800′ font=’entypo-fontello’ color=’theme-color’ custom_bg=’#444444′ custom_font=’#ffffff’ av_uid=” custom_class=” admin_preview_bg=”] \n\n\nAbout the CHS\n\n\nThe CHS Alliance is a network of over 240 organisations committed to improve their quality and accountability of aid and assistance provided\, and commit themselves to uphold and promote the core humanitarian standard. The Alliance supports their member organisations with the integration of the CHS in their operations\, practices and organisational structures. They work together with other initiatives on CHS.

SUMMARY:Hub Community Programming Board
DESCRIPTION:Last year we announced that we will be experimenting with a Community Programming Board\, which will take off Wednesday\, 15 January!\n\nThe idea of the board is to help ensure the development of (joint) activities and programming that are of value for Hub members and the broader ecosystem. As such\, the board can be both a sounding board and initiator of community activities (see December or January community update for details).\n\n\n\n\nSo far\, 12 diverse Hub members have volunteered to join. The board meeting will take place 8 times a year and are open to participation by other members. If you want to join or have an idea you would like to turn into a community initiative\, join us to explore!
