The need to improve access to justice is\, therefore\, part of the Sustainable Development Goals. During this HagueTalks you will hear personal stories from people all around the world that work with local communities to improve their access to justice. How can we make the right to justice a reality that is experienced by everybody? \nDuring this HagueTalks you will hear from journalists and law practitioners about the ways that people and their communities are accessing justice. And how they are dealing with issues such as inheritance\, violence\, corruption\, war crimes and crimes against humanity. Challenges with accessing justice can be found all over the world and certainly also in The Netherlands. What is universal about our needs for justice? SUMMARY:SDG 7 - How does the Netherlands contribute to Renewable Energy in Developing Countries?
DESCRIPTION:Are you active in the (renewable) energy sector and do you have growth ambitions in developing countries?\nThen come to The Hague on 5 April and participate in the debate on Dutch contributions to accelerated realisation of the sustainable development goal (SDG) 7: access to affordable and sustainable energy. During this event we launch the new subsidy scheme ‘SDG Results: Access to renewable energy’ (SDG 7 Results) and the new phase of other instruments\, such as the FMO Access to Energy Fund\, GETInvest and the International Clean Energy Partnership. \nThe sector event is opened by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs\, the World Bank and IRENA\, the International Renewable Energy Agency. The central question is how companies\, financiers\, NGOs\, knowledge institutions and government can work together to accelerate the SDG 7 goals in developing countries and thus contribute to an ambitious global climate action. \nParticipants can make contact with governments\, companies\, NGOs and financiers in the renewable energy sector in developing countries. There are round table sessions on various themes within the renewable energy sector\, such as: \n\nfinancing of start-ups\,\nrenewable energy in the humanitarian sector\,\ninvestments in large-scale renewable energy generation\, and\nthe future of clean cooking\n\nFor more information about the event visit The Netherlands Enterprise Agency’s website
