SUMMARY:Just Peace Movie Night: Porcelain War
DESCRIPTION:Join Just Peace and the Embassy of Ukraine for a special film screening of the award-winning documentary PORCELAIN WAR\, dedicated to the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Through the power of cinema\, we reflect on resilience\, solidarity\, and the enduring fight for freedom. This event is more than just a screening – it is a space to come together\, honour Ukraine’s struggle\, and show that support knows no borders. \n\n\n\nThe Movie – Porcelain War\n\n\n\nNominated for the 2025 Academy Awards\, this incredible documentary will land in the city of Peace and Justice as a last stop before the Oscars\, to share the incredible story of resilience through art and marking the third anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine. \n\n\n\nAmidst the chaos and destruction of the brutal Russian invasion of Ukraine\, three artists defiantly find inspiration and beauty as they defend their culture and their country. In a war waged by professional soldiers against ordinary civilians\, Slava Leontyev\, Anya Stasenko and Andrey Stefanov choose to stay behind\, armed with their art\, their cameras and\, for the first time in their lives\, their guns. Despite daily shelling\, Anya finds resistance and purpose in her art\, Andrey takes the dangerous journey to get his young family to safety abroad\, and Slava becomes a weapons instructor for ordinary people who have become unlikely soldiers. As the war intensifies\, Andrey picks up his camera to film their story\, and on tiny porcelain figurines\, Anya and Slava capture their idyllic past\, uncertain present and hope for the future. \n\n\n\nCo-directed by Leontyev and Brendan Bellomo\, with extraordinary footage from first-time cinematographer Stefanov\, Porcelain War embodies the passion and fight that only an artist can put back into the world when it’s crumbling around them. \n\n\n\nProgram and Highlights\n\n\n\n16:30 -17:30 Welcome Reception\, Ukrainian Bites and Networking \n\n\n\n17.30-19.15 Movie Screening \n\n\n\n19.15-19.45 Dialogue \n\n\n\n20.00 Event Ends \n\n\n\nOpening remarks by The Ukranian Chargé d’affaires Anatolii Solovei. \n\n\n\nAdditional remarks: \n\n\n\n\nJill Wilkinson\, Managing Director of the Hague Humanity Hub\n\n\n\nRepresentatives from the Municipality of the Hague\n\n\n\n\nDialogue \n\n\n\nJust Peace Movie Nights are an opportunity to bring meaningful themes of peace and Justice to life in the Hague and to reflect on important issues together. \n\n\n\nThe movie screening will be followed by a 30-minute dialogue\, featuring the perspectives of the protagonists of the movie\, the filmmakers and experts working in the field of protecting art and cultural identity in times of war. \n\n\n\nSpeakers to be confirmed as they are set to travel from Ukraine for the occasion.

It affects soldiers\, men\, brothers\, women\, infants\, artists\, and poets who will never create new works again\, as well as the youth whose future has been stolen. SUMMARY:Ensuring humanitarian accountability: Lessons in success and failure from climate-related displaced communities in Bangladesh
DESCRIPTION:In this Hum-Gov webinar\, PhD Researcher Hyeonggeun Ji and AOSED Executive Director Shamim Arfeen will discuss humanitarian accountability from the perspective of climate-related displaced communities in rural Bangladesh.  \n\n\n\nThey will discuss issues around corruption in emergency aid\, the role of village leaders in manipulating aid resources\, the problem of corruption reporting in close-knit communities\, and more besides.  \n\n\n\nWithin the communities studied\, a surer method for ensuring accountability seems to be through direct and indirect trust-based connections between displaced people and (civic) humanitarian agencies.  \n\n\n\nThe discussion will further underline the need for adopting a context-specific approach to humanitarian accountability\, the role of social networks\, and the specific complexities of ensuring accountability in rural Bangladesh. \n\n\n\nThe webinar will include a presentation by Hyeonggeun Ji\, a reflection by Shamim Arfeen and time for a Q&A with the speakers at the end.

SUMMARY:Exhibition - 'Lens on law: Edges of proximity'
DESCRIPTION:The T.M.C. Asser Instituut and the Royal Academy of Art The Hague (KABK) proudly present ‘Lens on law: Edges of proximity’ – a collective exhibition that explores the intersection of international law and visual arts. Opening on Friday 28 February 2025\, the show in West Den Haag features work by three emerging photography artists who have collaborated with international law researchers to artistically reflect on complex legal concepts. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition by three 4th year KABK photography students\, Daria Radu\, Anastasia Troshkova and Salome Erni\, tackles\, questions and translates systems of justice\, legal frameworks and institutions of juridical power. It presents three very distinct perspectives on international legal topics\, that were developed during a three-month artist in residency programme at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut\, a research centre for international and European law based in The Hague\, International City of Peace and Justice. The residency\, inspired by the Asser Institute’s research agenda “Rethinking public interests in International and European Law” and celebrating the Asser Institute’s 60th anniversary\, aims to create greater understanding and engagement with international and European law through visual storytelling. \n\n\n\nIn her work ‘[RESTRICTED]’\, Daria Radu addresses the architecture of international legal institutions in The Hague\, demystifying these spaces by highlighting their human elements and questioning their accessibility to the public. Daria was granted access to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and documented the metaphorical cracks of the seemingly perfect buildings\, drawing attention to the mundane and unnoticed. While justice is destined for everyone\, international law is a construct covered in intricate layers of inaccessibility\, she concludes. \n\n\n\nAnastasia Troshkova similarly explores proximity and distance in her work ‘A Testimony of Birdwatching’\, where she investigates the role of consumer drones in modern warfare and international law. Her work delves into the visual function of small\, manoeuvrable ‘first-person view’ (FPV) drones – both as contemporary cameras and as tools for remote-controlled killing. While Anastasia previously used drones for photography\, video-making\, and entertainment\, she now focuses on footage widely shared on the internet – captured by drones shortly before their deadly attacks. Using a Polaroid camera\, she challenges the distance and the detached gaze that drones create between reality\, the operator\, and the spectator. The scenography is crafted by Boris Steiner. \n\n\n\nSalome Erni works with the visual traces of Case No. ARB/24/44\, an international arbitration between a gas company and the Netherlands which was filed in October 2024. The work not only speaks about the gas exploitation controversy in Groningen\, but also about the designed inaccessibility of investor-state dispute settlement (ISDS) arbitrations and a world where states are often complicit with companies when the revenues are high enough\, until the people pressure them to reconsider. By borrowing the language of activism\, Salome tackles the abstract postcolonial frameworks of international dispute settlement and asks the audience: Where is the public interest?  \n\n\n\nSAVE THE DATE – On Thursday 13 March\, West Den Haag\, located in the former American Embassy\, will host a closing event with the artists and speakers from the Asser Institute and the KABK to talk about their perspectives on art and international law. More information will follow soon. \n\n\n\nAbout Cultuurhaven and West Den HaagCultuurhaven is a new platform aimed at fostering connections between city residents and the established cultural field. Through collaboration and exchange across various cultural levels\, the project promotes a more inclusive\, accessible\, and dynamic arts sector in The Hague’s Museumkwartier. Cultuurhaven is organised by West Den Haag\, located in the former US embassy.  \n\n\n\nDo you have ideas or want to learn more? SUMMARY:[International Women’s Day] Bertha von Suttner: A beacon for women in international law and peace activism
DESCRIPTION:In honour of International Women’s Day\, the Asser Institute will host a panel discussion\, reflecting on Bertha Von Suttner’s (9 juni 1843 – Wenen\, 21 juni 1914) invaluable contributions and examining how her principles continue to influence the work of legal professionals and peacebuilders today. As a pioneering figure in the peace movement and the first woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize\, von Suttner’s legacy resonates powerfully with the Asser Institute’s celebration for its 60th year and mission of advancing international law. More than a century ago\, Bertha von Suttner made history as the first woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize. The Peace Palace’s ‘spiritual mother’\, and bestselling author of the world famous anti-war novel “Die Waffen Nieder” (Lay Down Your Arms)\, fought tirelessly for peace\, challenging male-dominated power structures that justified war. But today\, the struggle for gender equality in international law and peacebuilding is far from over. On 6 March\, the Asser Institute will honour von Suttner’s legacy with a special International Women’s Day event\, bringing together female judges\, legal scholars\, and activists for a night of reflection. The evening will open with a speech by Liesbeth Lijnzaad This link opens in a new tab\, Judge at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea\, highlighting the importance of women’s contributions to international law. Next\, artist Ingrid Rollema This link opens in a new tab\, well-known for the statue of Von Suttner This link opens in a new tab that she made for the International Court of Justice in The Hague\, will deliver the keynote. Rollema\, who travelled all over Europe to retrace Von Suttner’s footsteps\, will share the evening with a story about Von Suttner’s “juicy life” (dixit Rollema) and how her impactful legacy can inspire and empower women working in\, or interested in\, international law. Following this\, a panel discussion featuring Prof. Dr. Janne E. Nijman This link opens in a new tab (UvA\, Geneva Graduate Institute)\, and Priya Pillai This link opens in a new tab\, lawyer and international law specialist\, will delve into critical questions: How far have we come in achieving gender equality in international law? What challenges remain? What role do women play in shaping global justice?  Moderated by Gabrielė Chlevickaitė This link opens in a new tab (Asser Institute)\, the discussion will be followed by a Q&A session\, allowing you to engage with the speakers and share their perspectives. With pressing geopolitical conflicts and growing threats to international legal norms\, this discussion is a timely reminder that gender equality is not just a matter of rights—it is essential for achieving lasting peace. Honouring peace activist Von Suttner would offer some vital balance and celebrate the crucial contributions of women to international law.  \n\n\n\nAs the Asser Institute’s former academic director Janne Nijman once put it: “We need to know and teach about women who dared to swim against the tide. Bertha Von Suttner did exactly so. She was the first woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize\, so she is an important historical example.”  \n\n\n\nDate: 6 March 2025 Venue: Asser Institute  \n\n\n\nPreliminary programme 19.00 Registrations open19.30Opening speech by Liesbeth Lijnzaad19.40Keynote speech by Ingrid Rollema – About Bertha’s ‘juicy’ life  20.00Women in International Law: Shaping Peace\, Justice and the Path for Future Generations A panel discussion by female judges and scholars featuring Janne E. Her novel Lay Down Your Arms was groundbreaking\, not just for its anti-war message but for how it humanised the horrors of war\, making it accessible to a broad audience. She believed that ‘war was an institution handed down to us by the barbarians and to be removed by civilisation.’ According to her\, the world was simply not organised for states to solve their problems non-violently. Therefore\, her idea of peace was to be achieved by law. As vice-president of the International Peace Bureau\, she played a crucial role in fostering international cooperation and promoting peaceful conflict resolution. She actively participated in the First Hague Peace Conferences in 1899 and 1907\, where world leaders and diplomats gathered to discuss disarmament and international arbitration. Her influence reached Alfred Nobel\, contributing to his decision to establish the Nobel Peace Prize. Though she did not live to see the First World War\, her work laid the foundation for future peace efforts\, inspiring generations of activists.

SUMMARY:Cultuurhaven: Unlocking International Law
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered how international law shapes your world? Join us for an evening of inspiring art\, moving music\, thought-provoking poetry\, and lively discussions as we explore these powerful forces in a new light. This special event\, “Unlocking international law”\, co-organised by the Asser Institute and the KABK\, brings together artists\, legal experts\, and you for an engaging exploration of justice\, at a time where the international legal order is severely under pressure. \n\n\n\nThe exhibition “Lens on Law: Edges of proximity” features the work of photographers Salome Erni\, Daria Radu\, and Anastasia Troshkova from The Royal Academy of Art The Hague (KABK). The artists have spent time at the Asser Institute\, a research centre for international and European law\, exploring the visual dimensions of international law and creating art that invites us to see law in a whole new way. \n\n\n\nThe evening begins with a keynote by Sofia Stolk (VU Amsterdam)\, ‘Law in the eye of the beholder: how visuals shape our world order’ Sofia\, an expert on the intersection of international law and art\, will explore how the way we visualise law – from the buildings where it’s made to its presence online – shapes our understanding of it\, and the other way around. \n\n\n\nNext\, enjoy an acoustic performance by singers Miray and Cas\, featuring the protest song ‘A matter of habit’ This link opens in a new tab by Norwegian folk singer Moddi\, and ‘Imagine This link opens in a new tab’\, John Lennon’s utopian dream about unity\, brotherhood and peace\, and an original song This link opens in a new tab by Cas. \n\n\n\nAfter a short break\, prepare to be moved by a poetry recital by Sena Aydin that delves into the paradox of international law: its seeming detachment from everyday life\, yet its profound impact on individuals and societies. Powerful images will accompany the performance\, deepening our connection to the themes of justice and accessibility. \n\n\n\nA talkshow will follow\, featuring photographers Salome Erni\, Daria Radu\, Anastasia Troshkova and legal scholars Carl Emilio Lewis\, Stephanie Triefus\, and Tarik Gherbaoui\, who mentored the artists during their residencies at the Asser Institute. Together\, they will explore how art can highlight the human dimensions of law while also interrogating its accessibility\, transparency\, and societal impact. While international law establishes rules\, art serves as a space for questioning and bending them. Could this intersection of law and art spark innovative thinking and fresh perspectives on global challenges\, leading to more creative and effective solutions? Curiosity piqued? Get your burning questions ready for the Q&A. \n\n\n\nThroughout the evening\, we will get creative! There will be art supplies on hand\, including old law books you can creatively transform\, so you can share your thoughts and feelings about international law and justice. \n\n\n\nThis free event in West Den Haag\, in the former US Embassy\, is open to everyone – legal academics and practitioners\, students\, artists\, and anyone curious about the world around us. \n\n\n\nJoin us for an evening that promises to broaden your understanding of international law and justice through art.

SUMMARY:Advancing Climate Justice Through Inclusive Decision-Making
DESCRIPTION:Climate justice requires inclusive decision-making that represents the voices of those most affected by climate change\, such as Indigenous Peoples\, young people and affected communities from the Global South. However\, a lack of transparency and meaningful participation in climate negotiations often leaves these groups sidelined or reduced to token representation. How can we ensure that climate policies and decisions reflect the lived experiences and expertise of those on the frontlines of the crisis? \n\n\n\nPartos and the The Hague Humanity Hub are organising a learning session to find answers to this question. This event will bring together The Hague Climate Justice Hub and the Partos Climate Justice CoP to promote learning and collaboration between different organisations active in the climate justice space.  The session will take place in-person at the The Hague Humanity Hub and online via Zoom. \n\n\n\nIn this engaging learning session\, we will hear from guest speakers who bring diverse perspectives on Climate Justice to the table\, ranging from local activists to regional Climate Justice initiatives. What makes Climate Justice so crucial? What are good practices for meaningful participation? What happens when the perspectives of those at the frontlines of the crisis are central in decision making? And what role can NGOs play in advancing this cause? During the session\, we will explore the work of these key actors\, and following their presentations\, we’ll open the floor for a discussion on best practices\, challenges and concrete actions. \n\n\n\nSpeakers: \n\n\n\n–Jacob Baraza\, Founder/CEO and Water & Climate Governance Expert at Water Practice International \n\n\n\n-Chautuileo Tranamil\, Co-Founder Indigenous Liberation Movement \n\n\n\n–Anyse Pereira\, Programme Manager\, and Climate\, Biodiversity and Natural Resources Governance Consultant \n\n\n\n–Charles Mpoyi\, Tropenbos DRC and the Green Livelihoods Alliance \n\n\n\n–Charles Mwangi\, Head of Programmes at PACJA\, the Panafrican Climate Justice Alliance

SUMMARY:The New Fight Against Corruption
DESCRIPTION:New U.S. policies threatening the enforcement of whistleblower and anti-corruption laws demand new tactics for fighting corruption. In this event\, U.S. whistleblower experts from leading whistleblower law firm\, Kohn\, Kohn & Colapinto LLP (KKC)\, as well as the National Whistleblower Center (NWC) will address the new realities and necessary solutions. \n\n\n\nSince 1988\, the NWC and KKC have led the development of U.S. whistleblower and anti-corruption laws that have been used to enforce anti-bribery and money laundering laws worldwide. They are the attorneys behind some of the largest whistleblower cases\, including Howard Wilkinson’s exposure of a $230 billion Russian money laundering scheme and Bradley Birkenfeld’s exposure of a $780 million tax fraud scheme by UBS. \n\n\n\nThe National Whistleblower Center has been at the forefront of developing and advocating for powerful anti-corruption laws like the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act\, the Dodd-Frank Act\, and the Anti-Money Laundering Whistleblower Improvement Act. These laws have been utilized by whistleblowers worldwide and resulted in billions of dollars in recoveries. \n\n\n\nForeign governments and anti-corruption civil societies have long relied on the U.S. framework as a deterrent\, regulation\, and enforcement for corruption. With these effective U.S. laws now under attack\, it is vital that governments and civil society leaders concerned about transnational corruption work urgently to strengthen their anti-corruption and whistleblower protection. \n\n\n\nThis event will introduce members of the Humanity Hub and other groups and persons concerned with fighting corruption to the resources available from KKC and the NWC to aid in their advocacy. Recent trends in the U.S. impacting global anti-corruption efforts will be discussed\, along with potential solutions to fill the enforcement void caused by changes in U.S. policy. \n\n\n\nPlease register using the form linked below.Participation will be confirmed upon invitation.Refreshments will be served!

SUMMARY:Turning lessons into legacy: Strategies for documenting and sharing programme insights
DESCRIPTION:How can you ensure that valuable insights from your programmes and interventions don’t get lost but instead drive future impact? Join our SP Lab learning session on documenting and sharing lessons learned within your organisation and beyond.   \n\n\n\nWithin the volatile world of development funding\, documenting and using lessons learned is essential. Therefore\, the Partos SP Lab is organising a series of learning sessions on learning in programmes\, organisations and partnerships. During this first session we will focus on learning from programmes such as the Power of Voices Partnerships. \n\n\n\nDrawing on concrete experiences\, we will discuss practical strategies for integrating learning from the start of a programme and identify ways to communicate insights effectively to different audiences. \n\n\n\nIn this interactive session\, we discuss questions such as: \n\n\n\n\nHow do we tailor documentation and learning processes to the needs of internal teams and external stakeholders?\n\n\n\nHow can we move beyond reports and truly embed learning into our organisations?\n\n\n\nHow can we use our insights to show the impact we made and improve future practices?\n\n\n\n\nThis session will provide ample opportunity to learn from each other\, exchange insights and challenges\, and jointly identify best practices. \n\n\n\nThis is the first session of a series of learning sessions on sustained learning. In subsequent sessions we will dive deeper into embedding learning in organisations and decolonising learning in equitable partnerships.

SUMMARY:Protecting Culture in Times of Crisis
DESCRIPTION:Humanitarian Governance webinar series \n\n\n\n© Cultural Emergency Response\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin Cultural Emergency Response and The Hague Humanitarian Studies Centre at the International Institute of Social Studies\, for a webinar on protecting culture in times of crisis.  \n\n\n\nSpeakers Nimalka Passanha (Project Coordinator at CER)\, Shyamika Jayasundara-Smits (Associate Professor in Conflict & Peace Studies at ISS) and Kaira Zoe Canete (Senior Researcher at HSC) will discuss the connection between psychosocial care and humanitarian crisis\, the interplay between physical sites\, buildings and artefacts and the societies in which they are situated\, and the importance of maintaining the agency of people within a crisis through their (material and non) culture. \n\n\n\nThe speakers will also look at the role of international agencies and organisations in facilitating recovery and agency for those affected by crisis\, as well as the role of cultural (re)generation and preservation in peacebuilding. \n\n\n\nWhat is Cultural Emergency Response?\n\n\n\nCultural Emergency Response (CER) is an international NGO that collaborates with local partners to safeguard heritage at risk from disaster or conflict.  \n\n\n\nActing as a cultural ambulance\, CER facilitates rapid and flexible first-aid interventions to protect culture in crisis\, preventing irreversible loss and ensuring its preservation for future generations. Since 2003\, CER has supported over 560 cultural emergency projects across more than 85 vulnerable and hard-to-reach countries\, always working in direct partnership with local actors. Its cultural emergency response mechanism remains active at all times\, with grant applications for first-aid to heritage under threat accepted on a rolling basis. \n\n\n\nNimalka Passanha is a Project Coordinator at Cultural Emergency Response (CER)\, overseeing acute cultural emergency response projects and fostering global partnerships. She plays a key role in strengthening CER’s emergency response mechanism\, including early-warning systems\, scouting efforts\, and proactive network development in vulnerable regions. She currently leads CER’s Action Plans in Ukraine and Palestine.

SUMMARY:Conference - Innovative ways to counter terrorism: the role of transitional justice
DESCRIPTION:flowers and candles on the ground at the memorial service\n\n\n\nThe conference will address whether and how transitional justice (TJ) can be used as an innovative way to counter terrorism by analysing the Northern Ireland and Colombian cases. TJ is defined by the United Nations as “the full range of processes and mechanisms associated with a society’s attempts to come to terms with a legacy of large-scale past abuses\, in order to ensure accountability\, serve justice and achieve reconciliation.” It is based on four pillars: justice\, truth\, reparation and guarantees of non-recurrence\, which should be implemented holistically to redress human rights abuses. TJ approaches are victim-centred and aim to foster memory and reconciliation within a society.  \n\n\n\nThe objective of this conference is to generate a better understanding of TJ’s potential relevance within a counter-terrorism context and raise awareness amongst practitioners\, academics\, and policymakers on its possible uses in a countering terrorism context. Focusing on the examples of Northern Ireland and Colombia\, it aims to analyse what and how TJ mechanisms can contribute to reducing the terrorist threat in the long term\, fostering national security\, transforming victims and survivors into active counter-terrorism actors\, and promoting reconciliation.   \n\n\n\nThe conference will therefore build the necessary bridges between TJ and counter-terrorism. It will convene academic researchers from relevant disciplines and stimulate critical reflections on the interactions and divergences of TJ and counter-terrorism. Additionally\, it will engage a multi-stakeholder approach\, bringing together scholars\, practitioners\, policymakers\, and civil society and serve as a ground for networking and partnerships for future research.  \n\n\n\nThe one-day conference will take place at T.M.C. SUMMARY:Children in armed conflict: The protective role of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Children and other institutional responses
DESCRIPTION:During this event co-organized at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) by Save the Children and the Legal Mobilization Platform with The Hague Humanitarian Studies Centre\, panellists will discuss how the rights of children affected by armed conflict have been violated\, the role of the UN Committee on the Rights of Children to try and address these violations and what still needs to be done\, particularly at an institutional level.  \n\n\n\n© Cartoonistarif (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Children_in_war.jpg)\n\n\n\nChildren tend to bear the greatest brunt of any armed conflict and their human rights violated\, despite many decades of efforts by states\, international organizations and NGOs to try and prevent this.  According to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)\, 2024 was one of the very worst years in recent history for children affected by armed conflict. This includes children being killed and injured\, missing school\, being denied life-saving vaccines and critically malnourishment.  \n\n\n\nWhile an estimated 1 in 6 children live in a situation of armed conflict\, in the past year these conflicts have been especially intense in the Democratic Republic of Congo\, Haiti\, Lebanon\, Myanmar\, Gaza (Palestine)\, Ukraine and Sudan.  \n\n\n\nThis event is an opportunity to critically focus on the role of various actors\, including Humanitarian NGOs and the United Nations Committee on Children’s Rights\, regarding children in armed conflict and the challenges in addressing these institutional gaps at supra-national\, state and local levels\, through the expertise of three well-known experts. \n\n\n\nSpeakers \n\n\n\nTo inform this discussion\, we will be joined by Ann Skelton\, who is Professor of Children’s Rights in a Sustainable World at Leiden University and UNESCO Chair at the University of Pretorial as well as being a Member and outgoing Chair of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child since 2017. After being re-elelected for a second term\, her tenure on the Committee ended on 28 February 2025. \n\n\n\nWe will also be joined by Aurélie Lamazière\, who is a Senior Programme Manager at Save the Children International. Based in Geneva\, she leads and coordinates the organization’s work on accountability for grave violations affecting children in armed conflicts.   \n\n\n\nThe discussion will be moderated by Karin Arts\, who is Professor of International Law and Development at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam. There will also be an opportunity for the audience to pose questions. \n\n\n\nJeff Handmaker\, Associate Professor of Legal Sociology at the ISS and member of the Legal Mobilization Platform\, will say some opening words and Pim Kraan\, Director of Save the Children Netherlands will close the event. \n\n\n\nOrganizers \n\n\n\nThe event is organized by the Legal Mobilization Platform\, The Hague Humanitarian Studies Centre (both based at ISS) and Save the Children.
