SUMMARY:Design for Digital Autonomy
DESCRIPTION:Design for Values Impact Day – Digital autonomy \nOn 9 June\, the Delft Design for Values Institute of TU Delft hosts a workshop on Digital Autonomy for policymakers\, municipalities\, civil society and companies at Spui Campus in The Hague\, in collaboration with TU Delft | Campus The Hague. What exactly do we mean by digital autonomy? And what can organizations\, such as municipalities\, universities and companies\, do to advance digital autonomy? These are the central questions during the day. The Delft Design for Values Institute is one of the institutes of TU Delft and a partnership between various faculties. It focuses on developing and propagating design approaches where social values such as sustainability\, safety\, autonomy and justice are central. \nThis event will showcase research at TU Delft to policy makers and other societal stakeholders on values and design\, with a special focus on Digital Autonomy. During the series\, we will explore how research and practice can collaboratively advance policy and design approaches informed by values. The event will provide the opportunity to learn about the most recent research initiatives and results in your domain\, to connect to relevant TU Delft researchers and to meet other policy makers and stakeholders. Recently\, the DDfV has established several Special Interest Groups (SIGs)\, as well as a number of seed projects (for an overview\, see here). During the Research & Impact Day\, we aim to connect insights from DDfV research to practice\, strengthen the ecosystem\, and foster meaningful connections between research and policymaking. Participants are cordially invited to attend and will receive a certificate of participation. \nWhen: Tuesday 9 June 13.00-17.00 (welcome for lunch from 12.00) \nWhere: TU Delft Campus The Hague\, Spui 5 (fourth floor)\, 2511 BL The Hague \nLanguage: The working language is Dutch\, but some speakers will present in English. \n	Register now

SUMMARY:Follow-Up Meet-Up: Collective Action For Sudan
DESCRIPTION:Let’s come together to discuss and implement collective action pathways that can make a real difference for Sudan’s future.\nFollowing our April gathering at The Hague Humanity Hub\, we would like to invite you to a second meet-up to continue the conversation on collective action for Sudan.\nThe previous session brought together participants from humanitarian\, policy\, research\, cultural\, and diaspora spaces to reflect on current gaps in international engagement and identify practical areas for collaboration. \nA number of shared priorities emerged\, particularly around youth support\, local capacity building\, civilian protection\, and the need for more coordinated engagement between actors in the Netherlands and grassroots initiatives in Sudan. \nThis follow-up session on 9 June will focus on moving from reflection toward implementation. \nIn particular\, we aim to: \n\nfurther develop 1–2 concrete collective action pathways identified during the previous meeting\,\nexplore realistic pilot initiatives that can be supported from the Netherlands\,\nstrengthen connections between ongoing initiatives\,\nand discuss how spaces such as Sudan Futures Platform\, The Hague Humanity Hub\, and others can continue supporting constructive collaboration around Sudan.\n\nAt the same time\, we remain open to additional ideas\, priorities\, and emerging areas for collaboration that participants may wish to bring into the conversation. \nThis space is intended to complement — not duplicate — the important humanitarian and emergency response efforts already taking place. The discussion will focus particularly on medium-term actions and forms of collaboration that can strengthen longer-term resilience\, civilian support\, capacity building\, and future preparedness around Sudan. \nThe conversation will remain informal\, participatory\, and non-partisan\, while maintaining a practical focus on what can realistically be advanced together. \nAbout the Organizers\nThis meet‑up is organized by The Hague Humanity Hub in partnership with the Sudan Futures Platform as part of our ongoing commitment to support key ecosystem actors and bring crucial conversations to the forefront. \n	Register This link opens in a new tab

SUMMARY:Agenda Exhibition Israel/Palestine; Pain and Hope – the Search for Peace Begins with Listening
DESCRIPTION:The exhibition is open daily from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Admission is free. \nThe agenda is still under development and may be subject to change. Please check the agenda again shortly before the indicated date. The links for signing up are not yet made. Until that moment signing up is also possible through awf@annalindh.nl \nBackground \nThis exhibition\, Israel/Palestine; Pain and Hope\, is organised by the Dutch civil society network of the Anna Lindh Foundation in cooperation with numerous organisations. The Anna Lindh Foundation is an intergovernmental organisation established in 2005 that emerged from the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation process initiated in 1995 with the Barcelona Declaration. \nThis process was preceded by important political developments\, including the Madrid Conference of 1991\, where the principle of “land for peace” became central. This principle formed the basis for the 1993 Oslo Accords between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The Barcelona Process subsequently developed into a Euro-Mediterranean partnership for peace\, cooperation\, and dialogue. This led in 2005 to the establishment of the Anna Lindh Foundation\, in which Israel and Palestine participate together with other European and Mediterranean countries\, in the hope of promoting mutual understanding and peaceful cooperation. \nThe exhibition was organised within a very short period of time. Everyone who feels involved with Israel and Palestine was invited to submit work to our selection committee. Every individual and organisation that contributed material is responsible for the views represented in their own contributions. The Dutch Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation emphasises the importance of listening with empathy to different perspectives without endorsing specific political solutions. \nWe present photography and photographs of artworks that reflect the immense pain experienced by both Jews and Palestinians. At the same time\, we must continue to hold on to hope for a just and peaceful future for Jews and Palestinians alike. We therefore explicitly invited participants to contribute works that express hope. \nAgenda \nOn Thursday June 18\, venue open at 15:30. Opening at 16:30. Award-winning Palestinian professional photojournalist\, filmmaker\, and media consultant Mohammed Zanoun will present one photograph of Gaza from before the war and two photographs taken after its destruction. Following this brief presentation Mariëlle Vavier\, Deputy Mayor and Alderman for Poverty Reduction\, Inclusion\, Healthcare and International Affairs in The Hague\, former mayor Wim Deetman\, former D66 Senator Hanneke-Gelderblom\, rabbi Asjer Waterman (LJG) and our Egyptian curator Dr. Afaf Badran will open the exhibition. After the opening Dr. Afaf Badran will take Deputy Mayor Vavier and other speakers to the exhibition. Space is limited. Registration is required. LINK eventbrite \nDue to the expected number of guests\, a second opening session will take place at 7:30 p.m. Unfortunately\, Deputy Mayor Mariëlle Vavier will not be able to attend this second opening. \nThe opening is intended as a space for encounter\, dialogue\, and reflection\, not as a demonstration. Therefore\, flags\, banners\, and other forms of protest expression are not permitted. The wearing of personal clothing and symbols\, including a keffiyeh\, pins\, and religious symbols\, is permitted. \nA second opening moment is on Friday June 19\, 19:30 – 21:30\, with the presentation of the Podcast Truly Heard with Hanneke Gelderblom-Lankhout and Palestinian journalist Taghreed Elkhodary\, born and raised in Gaza\, about compassion with others despite big differences in convictions. Podcast Stefan Flos explains how this podcast came about. After the presentation questions can be asked. Signing up required \nDialogue Evenings \nOn the following evenings\, from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm\, we are organising dialogue discussions. These are free of charge and open to the public. Some evenings will be conducted in Dutch\, while others will be in English. Participants are required to register online in advance. \nThursday 18 June \nPodcast Truly Heard with Jewish former D66 senator Hanneke Gelderblom and Palestinian journalist Taghreed Elkhodary\, born and raised in Gaza. The subject is compassion for people with whom we disagree. We will present the podcast. Podcast maker Stefan Vlos will explain how it was produced\, after which visitors will be able to ask questions to Hanneke\, Taghreed\, and Stefan. English with possible Dutch translation. [CONFIRMED] Registration: LINK eventbrite \nSaturday 20 June \nDialogue in Nes Ammim. A Christian community in northern Israel that brings Israelis from different backgrounds\, including religious backgrounds\, into dialogue with one another. The foundation facilitates and guides this dialogue in a completely apolitical manner. What is needed for this\, and what can we in the Netherlands learn from it? Here too\, conversations can sometimes feel uncomfortable because listeners may have certain expectations or assumptions. Do we dare to ask questions and truly listen? Are we still able to look at others with genuine curiosity? Nes Ammim puts this into practice in Israel and\, especially on this evening\, also in the Netherlands. Hanneke Gelderblom also hopes to be present. Participants will again be encouraged to take an active part in the discussion by asking questions. \nWithin Nes Ammim there is a conviction that taking political positions makes it more difficult to bring together participants with widely differing political views. Presentation of the dialogue village Nes Ammim in Israel\, where Jews\, Christians\, and Muslims with strongly differing views come together. Presentation in Dutch. [CONFIRMED] Registration: LINK eventbrite \nTuesday 23 June \nIs the Two-State Solution Still Viable? \nArabist and journalist Eildert Mulder has lost hope in a two-state solution and will present his proposal for a one-state solution in 20 minutes. Dr. Gershon Baskin of the Alliance for Two States remains convinced that the two-state solution is still possible and will respond to Mulder. Both will present their visions and engage in discussion with one another. Dr. Baskin lives in Israel and will participate online. Hanneke Gelderblom will also participate. In addition\, Mohammed conducted academic studies examining the long-term effects of war on the region. In the line of duty\, he survived life-threatening injuries that caused severe facial and bodily trauma. Despite these profound physical challenges\, he returned to the field with unwavering determination to continue his mission and convey the truth to the world. Former D66 senator Hanneke Gelderblom will reflect on Mohammed’s work. How has the CDA’s position regarding Israel and the Palestinians changed since the founding of the CDA\, and how does the party navigate between the theory of its party programme and political practice? \nExplanation as to why the CDA Middle East Members’ Council has been invited specifically: they are members of the Dutch network of the Anna Lindh Foundation. This network is also open to Middle East-oriented working groups and committees from all political parties. Former D66 senator Hanneke Gelderblom will also participate in this discussion. There are three ways to contribute: \n	For families of participating photographers/artists in Gaza\n	\n	For the organisational costs of the Arab-West Foundation\, which is entirely dependent on donations. The foundation has ANBI (Public Benefit Organisation) status. \n	\n	For individual photographers/artists who contributed to this exhibition. \n	\nYour donations are greatly appreciated! \n	More information about the event

SUMMARY:#DemocracyDrinks: Sovereignty\, stabilization\, and the Venezuelan question
DESCRIPTION:The future of post-Maduro Venezuela: democratic transition or externally managed rule?\nSix months after the U.S. operation that removed Nicolás Maduro from office\, the basic question of what Venezuela is (politically and legally) remains unsettled. Delcy Rodríguez\, Maduro’s vice president\, sits in the presidential chair. Several senior figures from the previous government remain in their posts. Chevron is signing agreements in Caracas. Commercial flights have resumed. Political prisoners are being released in batches\, while hundreds are still subjected to cruel and inhuman treatment. Almost 8 million people are in dire need on humanitarian assistance. And the U.S. administration has stated it will “run the country” until a transition it considers ‘acceptable’ can be organised. \nThis edition of #DemocracyDrinks examines whether what is unfolding meets the conventional definition of a democratic transition\, or whether it more closely resembles the post-intervention administrative arrangements seen in other contexts\, where formal sovereignty coexisted with substantial external decision-making over security\, economic policy\, and institutional design. The two are not mutually exclusive\, and the literature on post-conflict state-building suggests that the distinction often becomes legible only in retrospect. \nMeet the speaker: \nVictoria Capriles\, visiting research fellow at the Asser Institute and researcher\, legal practitioner\, and human rights advocate specializing in international migration\, gender-based violence\, and forced displacement from Venezuela\, will explore: \n\nFrom an international human rights law point of view: what frameworks actually govern the current arrangement\, what role UN mechanisms have played or been sidelined from\, and how transitional justice is (or isn’t) being structured.\nFrom the practitioner side: how donor priorities\, partnership architectures\, and stakeholder engagement shape the realities on the ground\, often more decisively than formal political settlements.\n\nCecilia Rivero\, peacebuilding and governance professional based in The Hague\, with experience in program management\, partnership development\, and facilitation across Venezuela and internationally\, will be the moderator of this event. \nCome ready to ask uncomfortable questions and leave with a more grounded understanding of one of the most complex political moments of our time. \nThe Hague Humanity Hub\n	Register now! This link opens in a new tab\n	\nWhat are the #DemocracyDrinks? \n#DemocracyDrinks is an informal\, recurring conversation and networking series bringing together people working on democracy\, peace\, justice\, and democratic participation. \nThe format is intentionally simple: open\, dialogue-led conversations in a relaxed setting. #DemocracyDrinks The Hague provides space to connect across sectors\, test ideas\, explore emerging questions\, and reflect collectively on democratic challenges beyond formal panels or presentations. \nLaunched by Defend Democracy in Brussels in 2018\, #DemocracyDrinks now takes place in cities around the world. Editions in The Hague have brought together a diverse mix of practitioners from NGOs\, international institutions\, think tanks\, government\, and civil society. The Hague series is co-organised by the Netherlands Helsinki Committee (NHC)\, the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD)\, and The Hague Humanity Hub (THHH). \nInterested in hosting your own edition? SUMMARY:[Panel discussion] Russia's weaponisation of sexual violence against men in Ukraine
DESCRIPTION:Sexual violence in conflict is systematically underreported — especially when the victims are men. This panel discussion brings to light one of the least visible dimensions of Russia’s war against Ukraine: the deliberate use of sexual violence against male detainees as a weapon of war. \nBased on testimonies from 212 Ukrainian men held across five oblasts who have been subjected to sexual violence during their detention\, International Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR) and Truth Hounds present the reportTruth Beneath Silence: Russia’s Weaponisation of Sexual Violence Against Men in Ukraine. \nThe study showcases evidence of a large network of detention facilities that Russian forces established on occupied Ukrainian territories to administer torture and sexual violence against men in Ukraine. \nThe authors show how Russian forces use this tactic on an unprecedented scale against Ukrainian men\, aiming to break the civilian population and eliminate resistance. \nThe event brings together survivors\, legal experts\, civil society representatives\, and government stakeholders to discuss the report’s key findings and explore concrete pathways to justice and accountability. \nReport authors: \n\nInternational Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR)\nTruth Hounds\n\nSpeakers \n\nAndriy KOSTIN\, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of the Netherlands\nLaimonas TALAT-KELPŠA\, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania to the Kingdom of the Netherlands\nKate Orlovsky\, Director\, Hague Office\, International Bar Association\nAndrii Latsyba\, Legal Counsel\, Truth Hounds\nEvan Harary\, Legal Counsel\, Truth Hounds\nMariam Bezhanishvili\, Senior Legal Officer\, IPHR\nAnna Sosonska\, Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine\nDr Ewelina U. SUMMARY:Discussion on Environmental Harm in Armed Conflict\, Accountability and International Cooperation and Presentation of the Manual for Prosecuting Environmental Crimes
DESCRIPTION:Marking three years since the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam\, this high-level event organised by the Ukrainian Embassy in The Hague will bring together Ukrainian authorities\, international organisations\, legal experts\, investigators\, scientists\, civil society and practitioners working on accountability for massive environmental harm. \nThe session will combine two strands: a discussion anchored on the Kakhovka Dam case\, and the presentation of the Manual on Prosecuting International Environmental Crimes\, inspired by the investigations in Ukraine and authored by Climate Counsel and UCLA’s The Promise Institute for Human Rights (Europe). \nTogether\, the discussion and the Manual aim to translate hard-won experience from Ukraine into shared methodology and to advance accountability for environmental war crimes through stronger international cooperation. But the Manual’s scope is wider than its origins. It addresses both war crimes and crimes against humanity: the former committed in conflict\, the latter being charged in peacetime as well. \nThe discussion takes place against the backdrop of evolving international approaches to accountability for environmental harm in armed conflict\, including the recent policy of the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court on addressing environmental damage through the Rome Statute. \n	Register now

SUMMARY:[Panel discussion] Diplomacy and the practice of international law in Roman Antiquity
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a panel discussion that explores how international law and diplomacy actually functioned in Roman Antiquity (500 BCE – 476 CE). This period is often presented in modern handbooks of the history of international law either as a ‘primitive stage’ or a ‘pre-history’\, when it is not left out of the handbook narrative completely. \nThere are a number of reasons for this\, which will be set out in the first panel presentation\, given by Jacob Giltaijof the Law Faculty of the University of Amsterdam. Most obviously\, in Roman Antiquity\, there was no such thing as a ‘nation’ in the modern sense of the word. However\, especially the Roman Empire did at one point have a set population and territory (the ‘limes’). Moreover\, a theoretical concept known as the ‘ius gentium’ seems to indicate the existence of a type of ‘international law’. Then again\, the meaning of the ‘ius gentium’ appears to differ fundamentally from what we would now see as ‘international law’. \nIn the second panel presentation\, the focus is not on these theoretical considerations\, but rather on the practice of international law. More specifically\, Professor Emilia Mataix Ferrándiz of the Law Faculty of the International University of Catalonia will discuss the diplomatic practice in Roman Antiquity\, as a counterweight to the theoretical considerations in the first presentation. By focusing on diplomacy as a practice of international law\, it is possible to go beyond the idea of Roman Antiquity knowing an international law only in a ‘primitive’ or ‘pre-historical’ stage. Indeed\, it can be concluded that international law\, however defined in this period\, was actually intricate and well-developed. \nA reception will follow. \nSpeakers \n\nDr Jacob Giltaij\, Faculty of Law University of Amsterdam\nProf. Emilia Mataix Ferrándiz\, Faculty of Law International University of Catalonia\n\nCo-organisers \n\nPaul Scholten Centre for Jurisprudence\n\n	Register now!

SUMMARY:Stopping the Clock: Georgia’s Five Minutes to Dictatorship
DESCRIPTION:Dive into the tense moments when Georgia nearly flipped the script and what that means for democracy today.\nOnce hailed as a democratic frontrunner in the post-Soviet space\, Georgia now stands at a critical crossroads. Long regarded as a “bright spot” and firmly oriented toward European integration\, enshrined in its constitution\, the country is experiencing a rapid and alarming democratic decline. Recent findings\, including those detailed in an OSCE Moscow Mechanism Report\, point to intensifying pressure on civil society\, shrinking political freedoms\, and a growing concentration of power. Some observers warn that Georgia is now “five minutes to dictatorship.” \nThis timely roundtable\, hosted by Lex Populi—an international organization based in The Hague dedicated to advancing the rule of law and strengthening civil society worldwide—in collaboration with Transparency International Georgia\, will bring together leading experts to examine the country’s democratic backsliding and explore pathways forward. \n📅 Date: 2nd July\n🕒 Time: 15h00-17h00\n📍 Venue: The Hague Humanity Hub (Fluwelen Burgwal\, 58\, 3rd floor)\, The Hague \nThe discussion will move beyond the early successes of reform to unpack the deeper structural vulnerabilities that were never fully addressed—particularly the failure to establish a genuinely independent and accountable judiciary. The panel will also assess the wave of legislation that has constrained civil society\, restricted protest\, and heightened pressure on independent actors. \nDespite these challenges\, resistance endures. Civil society organizations\, including Transparency International Georgia\, continue their work inside the country\, while citizens persist in voicing strong support for democratic governance and European integration. \nWith activism both at home and in exile\, a key question remains: what can be done to “stop the clock” and support those working to restore Georgia’s democratic trajectory? \nThe roundtable will focus on three central questions: \n\nHow was the Georgian government able to consolidate one-party dominance so quickly\, and what lessons can be drawn from this experience?\nWhat is the current state of the pro-democracy and pro-European movement\, and how can efforts inside and outside the country be better aligned?\nHow can Western and international actors respond more effectively\, including through legal and policy tools such as cases before the European Court of Human Rights and universal jurisdiction mechanisms?\n\nThis discussion will also draw comparative insights from other countries\, including Hungary\, Slovakia\, and Poland. \nChatham House Rules will apply. \nWhy Attend? \nThis session is designed for policymakers\, legal practitioners\, civil society leaders\, academics\, and students interested in democracy\, rule of law\, and European integration. \nIt will also be valuable for representatives of international organizations\, journalists\, and members of the Georgian diaspora\, as well as anyone engaged in or following developments in Eastern Europe and the post-Soviet space who seeks a deeper understanding of democratic backsliding and international responses. \nMeet the Speakers: \n\nGiorgi Chkheidze\, Rule of Law Advisor\, Lex Populi\nEka Gigauri\, Executive Director\, Transparency International Georgia\nBoris Strecansky\, Civil Society Advisor\, Lex Populi\n\n	Apply now!

SUMMARY:[Festival] Legal sightseeing and international law
DESCRIPTION:This festival celebrates a decade of Legal Sightseeing as a collaborative research platform\,  founded by Renske Vos (Vrij Universiteit Amsterdam) and Sofia Stolk (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam/Asser Institute). It presents the newly published book Legal Sightseeing and International Law (Routledge) and highlights the practice of legal sightseeing\, including creative activities\, guided ‘tours’\, an exhibition\, and a festive reception. \nThis festival is an invitation to pause and wonder at the spectacular yet mundane practice that we have come to call legal sightseeing. Legal sightseeing signals the widespread ‘eventisation’ of international law: increasingly\, international courthouses are becoming top tourist destinations that host public events\, exhibitions\, and tours. But international law also pops up in more everyday spaces: as the theme for an organised city run or as a symbol printed on a T-shirt or an image on a cookie jar. Legal sightseeing stands for this broad category of encounters between ‘international law’ and ‘the public’ that encompasses many different activities\, sites\, artefacts\, and participants. Legal sightseeing asks how international law is presented to ‘the public’ in these encounters\, and in turn wonders what that public shows up for. Findings are presented through a photo blog on www.legalsightseeing.com\, which doubles as a platform showcasing experimental and visually-oriented research in international law. \nThe book Legal Sightseeing and International Law presents a rich collection of images and research that introduces legal sightseeing as both the phenomenon under study and an experimental research methodology. Structured as a catalogue\, the book covers a wide range of iconic and surprising instances of legal sightseeing\, located\, for example\, at the former American Embassy in the Netherlands\, the Museum of White Terror in Taipei\, in Bulgaria’s capital city\, Sofia\, and at more traditional sites such as the Peace Palace in The Hague and Courtroom 600 in Nuremberg. By revisiting this selection of projects curated under the legal sightseeing umbrella\, the book presents an innovative\, visually oriented and collaborative method of research and contributes to academic discussions on international law’s visual turn\, its spaces and materiality\, and the plurality of international law’s audiences. \nThe Legal Sightseeing Festival is an informal interdisciplinary event that will speak to academics\, legal professionals\, artists\, students\, and members of the general public interested in international law\, politics\, and art. \nCo-organisers \n\nVrije Universiteit Amsterdam\nLegal Sightseeing\nThe VU Interdisciplinary Centre for European Studies\nKNIVR\n\nSpeakers \n\nSofia Stolk\, VU Amsterdam\nRenske Vos\, VU Amsterdam\nAntoine Duval\, Asser Institute\nCarl Lewis\, Asser Institute\nVittoria Becci\, EUI\nHanna Zwienenberg\, VU Amsterdam\nEliana Cusato\, Tilburg University\n\n	Register now!

SUMMARY:Beyond the Headlines: Stories from Ethiopia
DESCRIPTION:On Thursday evening\, July 2\, we warmly invite you to the event “Beyond the Headlines: Stories from Ethiopia”\, organized by the Netherlands Red Cross in collaboration with The Humanity Hub.\nWhat do you know about Ethiopia? And where does that image come from? \nHeadlines often tell stories of crisis and vulnerability. But when you give the young generation of Ethiopia a voice\, you hear something very different. Young people share stories about their passions\, their pride in their country\, and how they overcome challenges. \nDuring the evening\, we will screen a short documentary about this new generation\, who are working every day to create a positive impact in their communities. From volunteering with the Ethiopian Red Cross to building skate parks and organizing skating lessons for girls\, they are taking initiative and strengthening their communities from within. \nDuring the evening\, we will also take a closer look at the work of the Red Cross in Ethiopia\, highlighting how communities are building long-term resilience together. In addition\, the photo exhibition Faces in the Frontline will be on display\, featuring striking portraits of people living with the daily consequences of climate change. \n \n  \nThe evening will offer space for a conversation about how Ethiopia — and Africa more broadly — is often represented in the media and by aid organizations\, and which stories are still underrepresented. \nWe will start at 17:15 with a reception\, including drinks and snacks. The program begins at 17:45. Speaker names can be found in the program below. Follow our social media for updates\, and we hope to see you on July 2! \nParticipation is free\, but space is limited. \nWill you join us?\nReserve your spot now. \nProgram\n17:15 – Doors open\n17:45 – Opening remarks by Derk Segaar (Head of International Assistance\, Netherlands Red Cross)\n18:00 – Screening of two short films about the Red Cross’s work in Ethiopia\n18:20 – Q&A session with Derk Segaar and Placidia Vavirai (Water\, Sanitation and Hygiene Expert\, Ethiopian Red Cross)\n18:40 – Screening of a short documentary about young Ethiopians contributing to their communities\n19:10 – Panel discussion about the documentary\, featuring filmmakers Tommie Fortuin and Babette Schenkels (Netherlands Red Cross)\, and journalist Daaf Borren (author of Continent of the Future and platform The Bright Continent) (final panel composition to be confirmed).\n19:30 – 20:30 – Networking drinks \n  \n	Register now
